Sweden's premier Alpine and Freestyle Ski Club.
Åre Slalomklubb is mainly active within alpine skiing, freestyle skiing, football and sailing. Besides these sports we now and then have a few athletes in telemark skiing, speed skiing and snowboarding. The ski club has some 1400 members and approximately
300 youths taking part in organised training and racing. We also have extensive racing activities and a long experience of organising competitions.

Alpine skiing has been Åre Slalomklubbs main activity since 1935 and through out the years the club has had many skiers on the Swedish National Ski Team. Åre Slalomklubb is one of Sweden's most experienced race organisers with a long history of organising the FIS World Cup.
Freestyle skiing has been a successful part of the Ski Club activities since 1985 and Åre SLK Freestyle has become one of the most important freestyle clubs in Sweden with many skiers and coaches on the national team. Åre SLK is also Sweden's premier freestyle race organiser having organised FIS Freestyle World Cup races and numerous other freestyle races.
Åre Slalomklubb have a long history in football and after a period of no activity we now have approximately 200 players from the age of 6 until 14 that plays on our teams. The home playing field is the new artificial turf football field in the neighboring village Duved.
Sailing became a part of the club in 2013 and have rapidly grown to become one of the region's largest clubs for youth sailors. The club owns 12 boats, the latest purchase was 4 lasers that were used at the Olympics in London in 2012. The club have also built a marina at Åre Strand.
Åre Slalomklubb is one of Sweden's most experienced race organisers, both in alpine races and freestyle races.
The Ski club have organized everything from kid's races to World Ski Championships.
